Good venue with easy access off the motorway. But the building did not feel like a barn as i would imagine it hence the rating! You have two other choices for an event venue - open field with marquee and small wooden structures and/or woods. Toilets are portable. Plenty to choose from.

I've had the pleasure of attending and working at several weddings at Monkton over the years. The place is BEAUTIFUL and just the right amount of quirky... Set in AMAZING countryside and with great facilities. The staff have always been wonderful and the events magical, honestly it's a winner!

I had the pleasure of having my 60th birthday at Monkton Barn. I had the most wonderful time with my family and friends mostly because of the wonderful setting, amazing canapés, super tasty summer BBQ and the drinks offered at the bar. I had a unique bespoke service from the warmest welcome from Peter and the friendly staff who served us on the day. The booking process so easily done and I was always felt to be welcomed with any queries I had. I did change my ideas and mind on many occasions however I was accommodated each time with no problems at all. My family and friends loved everything offered at Monkton Barn, As I really was made to feel very special. I loved my 60th birthday party and highly recommend Monkton Barn for all types of special unique events, making beautiful memories. Thank you so much…..

Monkton Barn did a fantastic job hosting our wedding early July. We were struggling to find a venue that could accommodate our numbers (180) and did not want a standard hotel package. We were able to get a four hat tipi in their meadow which was a lot more ‘us’. The food was absolutely excellent and the team were friendly and helpful. You feel supported through the whole process, having regular meetings with the events planner and a final document outlining all the timings. If you want a venue with more flexibility it’s ideal. Wendy (the co owner) was also our photographer which I would definitely also recommend!

The first time we stepped foot into Monkton Barn we instantly knew it was the wedding venue for us. We had a truly magical day and the woodland ceremony was an absolute dream. The team at Monkton Barn guided us every step of the way and they were so incredibly supportive making our dream wedding become a reality. They even manage to bring in the sunshine on our special day :) We can't recommend them more highly, they really have become part of our family. We love you guys! Mr & Mrs M. xxx

This friendly Buckinghamshire venue has a good selection of local beers from the Rebelion Brewery, which is always a good start for any Oktoberfest/Oompah Party! Just off the M40, It has multiple areas to choose from for events, both inside and outside, with no noise restictions. So weather you're looking to book us to play Bavarian songs for an Oktoberfest, Oompah & Pop hits with games for a Work Event, or seaonal tunes for a Christmas Party... we highly reccomend this beautiful venue.

We had our wedding reception at Monkton Barn after attending 2 of the Jazz Experience nights there. The team are fantastic and really make you feel looked after. You can tell Peter & Wendy truly love what they do, which is invaluable. The venue itself is beautiful, and really adaptable for different colour schemes/decorative needs. The team are so creative and ready to make your vision of your event come to life, even if it’s not something they’ve done before. We wanted some Polish touches to our wedding, including food which the chef, James, had never made before, and they absolutely embraced the opportunity (and it was delicious!). We had such a great time there on our day and would highly recommend them as a wedding and party venue. Thank you to all the team for making it so special!

We had our wedding here after a year's delay due to Covid - it was an absolutely wonderful day and the Monkton team did everything they could to ensure our vision was realised. The food was amazing, the staff were friendly, the day ran smoothly and it was exactly how we wanted it. Big thank you to Peter, Gabriella and James who brought our festival wedding to life! We're sure we'll be back to support their events or for further family get togethers in the future!

Great venue, good food, great fire pit, superb band and great service. Only Downside only 2 toilets and one went out of order. Sign for gents points to field but no one managed to find it or wanted to get muddy trying. Great place for party.

Beautiful setting and Peter couldn't be more helpful in encouraging us to have the wedding we wanted. Lots of support from Mel's fantastic catering team and Wesley to helped us on decorations day. Our guests commented all day and night to us on the beautiful relaxing environment.
